Marin Community Clinics is building a stronger future through forward-thinking programs and high-quality care. This year, we advanced innovative initiatives like the Whole Family Wellness Program and the Solar + Battery Resiliency Project, ensuring care remains stable during emergencies. MCC was also honored for excellence—earning a CalAIM award for transforming care delivery and achieving a PCP QIP score above 90%, surpassing the statewide average.
Whole Family Wellness Program: More Than a Visit
With support from UCSF and funding from Genentech, Inc., Marin Community Clinics launched “Responding to ACEs Using a Whole Family Wellness Approach to Care.” This innovative program addresses the long-term effects of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) by integrating trauma-informed, culturally responsive practices into pediatric care.
By supporting parents and children together, the model strengthens family wellness and improves outcomes. A dedicated care manager links families to behavioral health, housing, legal services, and community resources, ensuring coordinated support. This work is helping build healthier, more resilient futures for Marin families.
Powering Health, Building Resilience
On October 27, Marin Community Clinics welcomed leaders from Direct Relief, American Microgrid Solutions (AMS), and the Marin Community Foundation (MCF) to our Novato Campus Clinics—marking a major milestone in our Solar + Battery Resiliency Project. Funded through Direct Relief’s Power for Health Initiative, with additional support from MCF and MCE Community Choice Energy, this project will help ensure MCC can continue delivering essential care during power outages, wildfires, and extreme weather. The upcoming installation of solar panels and battery storage will significantly strengthen our energy reliability and emergency readiness. Together, we’re building a healthier, more resilient future for Marin.
