Special Occasion Gift

Some people are choosing to use special celebrations, like birthdays, as vehicles for donations. We all have birthdays, often marked by joyous celebrations. While receiving gifts can be wonderful, increasingly people are using the occasion of their birthdays to support causes they care deeply about. Birthday fundraisers are simple because all you need to do is pick an organization that you care about and let people know that, “Instead of spending money on a birthday gift for me, please donate to this amazing organization that will put it to good use.”

Donor's Corner

I know that what we are doing is helping someone,” says Doris. “It gives us a sense of satisfaction, knowing that people who are under- or uninsured and have health problems can get help in a safe place,” concludes Nancy.

Marin Community Clinics is a significant and much needed provider in Marin. Access to healthcare is a fundamental human right. Until the U.S. has a policy of universal access, there needs to be a respectful and high quality dedicated organization that cares for the underserved. The Clinics is certainly that.

Tom Peters, PhDMarin Community Foundation

The team at the Clinics carries out its mission every day, providing all the elements of care and with a strong focus on the social determinants of health. Their quality of care is unquestionably ‘gold standard.

Shirin VakhariaMarin Community Foundation

The overall health of the community has improved because of Marin Community Clinics. It is a success story we can all applaud. The people served by Marin Community Clinics are part of the fabric of Marin. We need to make sure that everyone in our community has access to quality health care. And we need to work together to make sure this continues.

Marin is known to be a wealthy county, but there are also ‘pockets of poverty’ and a lot of people who are not able to secure insurance or have jobs that offer benefits. The Clinics take care of these people. I have watched how much the Clinics has expanded, and that is truly encouraging. Full health services are being offered to everyone, not just to those with limited resources. Supporting an organization such as the Clinics is critical to making a lasting impact in our community’s health. Everyone should do it.

Jordan ShieldsArrow Benefits Group

Marin Community Clinics goes ‘above and beyond’ for its patients. With visionary leadership, adequate resources, and donor support, the Clinics has successfully managed tremendous growth in the number of patients and scope of services. It’s one of the most important investments people can make.
