Cenida Gomez-Flores is a Spanish-speaking Registered Dietitian Nutritionist from Coachella, CA (Southern California). Although new the field of nutrition and dietetics, Cenida has previously worked in food service as a smoothie creator, in education as an Instructional Aide, in social work as a Mental Health Worker, and in the field of medicine as an Emergency Medical Technician and Phlebotomy Technician. It was through her interest in medicine where she found her passion in nutrition and dietetics while studying at Loma Linda University. She graduated from Loma Linda University with her Master of Science degree in Nutrition & Dietetics in June 2020 and obtained certification as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist from the Commission on Dietetic Registration in September 2020. She is highly motivated to guide individuals of all ages to cultivate healthy relationships with foods for the betterment of one’s wellness. She believes that every individual has the right to compassionate and dignified medical care that addresses patient concerns and needs accordingly.
