Mitesh PopatThe pandemic is not over – far from it – but with over 90% of Marin residents 12 and older now vaccinated, our response no longer requires all of our attention. While variants are continuing to present new challenges in our daily work, we are prepared to face them as we continue our vigilant COVID-19 response strategy. We are committed to protecting the health of our patients and providing a safe work environment for our employees.

I am deeply grateful for the hard work and relentless dedication that every Marin Community Clinics employee has put forth in helping us reach this point. Marin County led the nation in its COVID-19 vaccination response, and I’m proud of what Marin Community Clinics contributed to that. Having worked through the pandemic together thus far, I have never felt more confident in this team than I do right now.

So where do we go from here? I am pleased to announce that we are investing further in our mission because we know that it matters. We’ve seen our impact, and we’ve earned lasting trust within the community. We know our comprehensive dental services significantly improve our patients’ overall well-being. We see the opportunity our Complex Care team generates (read the powerful comeback story on p. 3). We help our community access the care they need and deserve – and we’ll continue to do so. We understand that our work is not finished.

So, we’re driving ahead – confidently, with your support and a robust plan in tow. The quality of our care and services is phenomenal (read about our stellar performance rating on p. 5). Our expansion plan, The Campaign for the Next Decade, is the future of equitable health services inMarin. More to come on that soon! It’s an exciting time for the Clinics, and I feel inspired for the journey ahead.
