At Marin Community Clinics, our mission is simple yet powerful: to promote health and wellness through excellent, compassionate care for all. It’s the promise we live by, and the reason thousands of families turn to us when they have nowhere else to go.
In 2024, we provided care to more than 38,000 patients—regardless of income, insurance status, or background. Nearly a third were children.
One of those families is Paweena and her son, Joaquim (“Jimmy”), who found stability and hope at Marin Community Clinics when they needed it most.
When Jimmy, was diagnosed with autism at two years old, his family’s journey through the healthcare system quickly became overwhelming. After losing private insurance and switching to Medi-Cal, Paweena worried about how to continue Jimmy’s specialized care. Thanks to MCC’s staff and whole-person approach to care—today Jimmy is thriving.
