I am a family nurse practitioner who was born and raised in Marin and returned to the Bay Area in 2017 after completing my medical training at the University of Vermont. Before joining the Marin Community Clinics Complex Care team, I worked at the Ritter Center, where I served patients experiencing poverty, homelessness, mental health challenges, substance use, and complex trauma. I believe that being healthy means different things to different people, so I put my patients in the driver’s seat of their own care and partner with them to set and accomplish goals that they find meaningful. I strive to empower those under my care to address the barriers that stand in the way of their wellness, acting as a guide and advocate so my patients feel confident making well-informed choices. When I’m not working, I love to garden, make pottery, cook, and hang out with my husband Calvin and our adopted cat and dog, Diane and Tippi.
