| David Avila, MD, MPH, is a primary care pediatrician who enjoys caring for patients of all ages. He is dedicated to building relationships with families and working with them to help their children grow, learn, and thrive. Dr. Avila speaks fluent Spanish. He is passionate about eliminating health disparities and working with immigrant families.
Dr. Avila grew up in Southern California and completed his undergraduate education at the University of California, Irvine, majoring in Biomedical Engineering with a minor in Chicano/Latino Studies. He earned his medical degree from the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine and completed his Masters in Public Health at Harvard, focusing on Health Policy. He then completed his pediatric residency at the University of California, San Francisco Benioff Children’s Hospital. He is privileged to serve and connect with our Marin community. |
