Brooke Gibson is a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Family Medicine. They earned their Doctor of Nursing Practice from Seattle University, where they were honored as a National Health Service Corps Scholarship recipient. Post-graduation, they relocated to Hawaii to join Waianae Coast Comprehensive Health Center’s Na Lei Kukui Nurse Practitioner Residency. At the Health Center, they enhanced their clinical skills in the remote island setting, working with patients from diverse backgrounds, and completing training in Hawaiian Cultural Practices.
Their philosophy of care is centered on meeting patients where they are, recognizing each individual’s unique needs, and delivering the most current, evidence-based medical advice. They are a third generation Californian who grew up in a working-class family in the Sacramento area. Working as a medical assistant for seven years and being a part of a medical team of excellence inspired them to pursue further education and become a medical provider.
Outside of their professional life, Brooke enjoys writing and playing music, cycling, relaxing on the beach, and spending quality time with family and friends.
