Marin Community Clinics participates in the nationwide Reach Out and Read literacy promotion program. Pediatricians discuss the importance of parents reading to their children, and distribute books chosen for the child’s developmental stage, to encourage literacy and healthy childhood development. Additionally, we collect and distribute books so that young patients and their siblings can take a book home.
