Born and raised in New York City and went to Queens College where he majored in Biology.
Dr. Korr went to Medical School at the Universidad Complutense in Madrid, Spain and lived there for 7 years. He is fluent in Spanish and speaks passable Portugese.
After Medical School he trained as an Adult Cardiologist and served on the Fulltime Faculty at The Alpert Medical Scholl of Brown University in Providence RI. In addition to Cardiology he has specialty interests in Vascular Medicine and Internal Medicine. Dr. Korr serves as Associate Editor of the RI Medical Journal, and reviews articles and individual contributions for them.
His philosophy of medical care is that it is all about the patient. The care has to fit the patients’ needs and there is usually more than one way to treat a patient’s problem.
When he is not working he enjoys tennis and golf and has played jazz guitar for 30 years.
