Phyllis Carroll is a Family Nurse Practitioner who provides primary care services in English and Spanish to patients of all ages at Marin Community Clinic’s Campus Clinic in San Rafael. She also spends time at the weekly Health Hub at San Rafael Clinic screening patients for hypertension and diabetes. She believes health care is a human right and works to improve health equity in the city she calls home. Born and raised in San Diego, she moved to the Bay Area in 2001 to pursue architecture. Phyllis holds a BA in Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley and a Master’s Degree in Nursing from Samuel Merritt University. When she is not caring for patients, she spends her time hiking, playing the piano, or at home building and urban farming with her spouse, kids, dog, and 8 chickens.
