
Kristine earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Ethnic Studies and her Master’s Degree in Social Welfare (MSW), and has been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) since 2008. She speaks English and Spanish. Kristine has worked with individuals and groups with histories of trauma, child abuse, intimate partner violence, and sexual assault for 20 years in both non-profit and governmental settings. Kristine’s philosophy is to provide trauma-informed and culturally sensitive care, and she enjoys teaching and mentoring those interested in advancing social justice. She supervised pre-graduate Master’s level interns as a Field Instructor for several Bay Area MSW programs, and has also been a field faculty member at a Bay Area MSW program. Kristine is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and is an active member of EMDRIA (EMDR International Association) and NASW (National Association of Social Workers).
