Andrea Parsons is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker striving to ensure all people- regardless of ethnicity, socioeconomic or legal status, disability, or age- have access to quality, compassionate behavioral health services. Andrea appreciates the inextricable link between emotional and physical health, and works to assist her patients in utilizing their internal resources and resilience to improve their overall well-being. Andrea has a particular focus on acculturation, grief, and trauma in the immigrant population, and is bilingual in Spanish.
Andrea graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BA in Psychology from Cal State Fullerton, and obtained a Masters of Social Welfare from UC Berkeley in 2010. She completed a fellowship in the Pediatric and Cardiovascular Intensive Care Units at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford, and became licensed in the state of California in 2014. Andrea joined MCC in 2015, and has loved the environment, her coworkers, and her patients from day 1!
Outside of work, Andrea enjoys immersing herself in nature, playing the piano, and ballroom dance.
