At Marin Community Clinics, we rely heavily on our dynamic community of donors. It is our donors that allow us to add/enhance programs that provide quality, cost-effective, culturally sensitive, patient-centered health care. We recognize philanthropic contributions are a deeply personal decision; as such, we provide our donors a plethora of ways to contribute:
- Annual gifts
- Recurring gifts
- Planned gifts
- Goods and Services
Marin Community Clinics is dedicated to providing the highest quality care for our patients and our community. Your support will provide a caring response to the medical and dental needs of Marin residents who would face major barriers to receiving health care without Marin Community Clinics.
While much of our revenue comes from reimbursement of patient services from public and private insurance and sliding scale fees, we rely on community support from caring individuals, foundations and businesses to help us deliver quality care to our patients.
Your generous gift supports medical and dental care for children, teens, adults and seniors in need.
Marin Community Clinics is an independent, nonprofit, tax exempt organization. We welcome all types of donations, including cash or checks, stock, and employer matching gifts. You are invited to give online or by mail to Marin Community Clinics Annual Fund supporting medical services for people of all ages.

A recurring gift is an ongoing, specific gift amount determined by a donor that is charged at a regular interval to the donor’s credit card or checking account. Your recurring gifts will be a dependable source of support that Marin Community Clinics can count on throughout the year.
You can establish a recurring credit card gift by clicking the Donate Online Now button located on this page. Immediately after you designate a donation amount you can specify a donation frequency—monthly, quarterly, and annually.
If you would prefer to create a recurring gift that is not connected to a credit card, you can contact your bank and have a check sent at your specified frequency. We are planning to implement electronic funds transfer (EFT) in the future; contact us for more information.
Planned gifts transcend generations and we are deeply moved every time someone makes a contribution to our Endowment Fund or designates a portion of their estate to ensure the long term viability of Marin Community Clinics. With that said, planned giving involves sensitive topics, which is why we have provided answers to several common questions that arise when discussing planned giving.
There are many ways to make planned gifts, ranging from simply writing a check to setting up a special trust. The best choice depends on your goals. Donors considering creating gifts through a will, trust, life estate or some other vehicle should consult their legal and financial advisers on the tax consequences of various forms of giving.
Marin Community Clinics’ Legacy Circle honors everyone who has donated to the Endowment Fund or who has notified the Clinics that they have made a commitment to us in their will or estate plan.
For more information on the Legacy Circle or to advise us of your intent to include Marin Community Clinics in your estate plan, call 415-526-8527. Thank you for ensuring the future health of our community.

At Marin Community Clinics we have a Book Nook program where we welcome donations of lightly or gently used children’s books of all ages. We distribute books to our pediatric patients, and their siblings and friends who accompany them, during their visits as our way of encouraging literacy and education.
If you have new or gently used children’s books to donate, please call 415-526-8527 or drop them off Monday – Friday from 10am – 5pm at one of the following locations:
San Rafael Clinic – 3110 Kerner Blvd, San Rafael
San Rafael Campus Clinic – 3260 Kerner Blvd., Suite A, San Rafael
Novato Clinic – 6100 Redwood Blvd., Novato
To compliment our Book Nook, we participate in the nationwide Reach Out and Read program. We provide age appropriate books to our pediatric patients at their visits as our way of encouraging literacy and education. Our pediatricians reinforce parents’ role as the first and most important teacher in their children’s lives, encouraging them to read aloud to their children during the critical early years of cognitive and language development.
Another wonderful in-kind gift is a creative contribution. Our generous supporters have found various paths to giving, such as decorating teddy bears to give to children, knitting warm hats, sweaters and blankets for newborns, donating a portion of the profits from sales at a local shop, using an eScrip Community Card at a local grocery store and designating Marin Community Clinics to receive the benefits. To arrange a creative contribution pickup, please email email@example.com or call 415-526-8527.
If you find yourself with some spare time, you can always give the gift of your time. We welcome volunteers from the medical and general community to give back and volunteer at any one of our clinics. Medical specialists who can commit to a regular schedule of volunteering in our clinics are always needed. Other volunteer opportunities are available in our clinic front offices, Quality Improvement department, and business office. Everyone benefits when neighbors help neighbors.
