We partner with other health care organizations in the county to ensure that everyone in our community has access to essential health care services.

Independent Organizations Provide Care at MCC

• Marin Independent Practice Association (Marin IPA) — after-hours pediatric care at MCC’s Greenbrae Clinic and hospitalist coverage at Marin General Hospital for all Marin patients, including MCC patients
• Legal Aid of Marin — jointly operated “Medical Legal Project” provides legal services for patients weekly at the Novato and San Rafael clinics

MCC Provides Care in the Community

• Marin County Community Mental Health Services (CMHS) — MCC provides primary health care services to patients receiving emergency psychiatric services
• Huckleberry Youth Programs — MCC provides health care services to teens at Teen Tuesdays drop-in clinics
• Novato Wellness Center — MCC provides health care services to youth and adults at drop-in clinics or by appointment

Partnerships with the Community

• Sutter’s Marin General and Novato Community Hospitals — providing below market rent and contracts for laboratory and x-ray services; refers low-income emergency room patients with urgent care needs to MCC
• Kaiser Permanente — providing retinal exams; funding and technical assistance to expand preventive health education
• Oakland Children’s Hospital — MCC refers patients for specialty care
• Marin Healthcare District Board — providing support to help establish a new MCC clinic in the Canal neighborhood
• Marin County’s Women’s Health Services— MCC provides pediatric care for all newborns whose mothers receive OB/GYN services
• Marin County Health IZ Services — contracts with MCC for immunizations for low-income infants & children
• Bay Area Regional Registry (BARR) — MCC utilizes 10-county tracking, reminder/recall system for immunizations
• Healthy Marin Partnership’s Children’s Health Insurance Access Committee — MCC serves as the largest enrollment source of public insurance enrollment for Marin
• San Francisco Bay Area Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure - supports MCC's breast health program
• To Celebrate Life Breast Cancer Foundation - supports MCC's breast health program
• Operation Access - a non-profit organization that mobilizes a network of medical volunteers and hospitals to provide low-income uninsured patients access to donated outpatient surgeries and specialty care
• The San Francisco Foundation - supports MCC's Health Education and Lifestyle Program (HELP)
• A.P.P.L.E. Family Works - provides free parenting Nurture Groups (support groups for new parents and expectant women)
